But I pose the question the morning after Man Utd and Chelsea have both reached the semi finals - and Liverpool look like making it an English hat-trick.

Apart from Darren Fletcher, I can't think of any other Scots involved. It's changed days from whenat least one Scot was involved with Liverpool, Man Utd, Aston Villa or even Notts Forest at this level - either as player or manager.

So what IS the answser?

Was it Paul Lambert in his German years??

Or Fergie lifting it in 1999?
